Greenville County's
"Penny Sales Tax" is a LIE!
Here's why YOU Should VOTE
NO on November 5th
AGAINST a HUGE and
UNNECCESARY
TAX INCREASE!
SAME OLD DIRTY TRICKS!!
The Greenville, SC County Council - four of whom LOST their seats in the June Republican primary- irresponsibly voted to put a TAX INCREASE on the ballot in November.
Officially called the "Capital Project Sales Tax Referendum" this totally unnecessary tax is also known - FALSELY - as the "Penny Sales Tax."
Your County Council wants you to vote to raise that to 7 cents, a 17% increase!! And they want this increase in place for "up to 8 years."
Don't be fooled by "fake news" that calls this increase "just a penny."
This will cost you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars out of your pocket! And remember, this increase is on top of the 22% increase in property tax County Council approved last year.
What's more, OUR ROADS BUDGET HAS NOT BEEN USED!
Our roads are in TERRIBLE shape, and we have ALREADY PAID to have them fixed. The politicians say this increase is needed for roads, but funds from previous tax hikes for road repair have not been spent!

VOTE NO on the "Penny Tax" 17% Tax Increase on November 5th.
